Each week they painted a square which they would put together to create a Rights Respecting school photo. Every Wednesday they had lessons with Miss Evans and a few BAB students. They used chalk, oil pastels, paint, magic pencils, cotton balls, pencils, skin tone pencils

Rights Respecting Schools Ambassadorship.
In Northwood primary school, there are a group of children called ambassadors. The role of ambassadors is to be a good role model and to respect peoples rights. We have a badge that shows that we are RRS ambassadors. This is what the badge looks like.
As ambassadors, we have done questionnaires, focus group, talked to governors and much more.
On December the 7th 2011, several classes in England sent a message on a piece of cardboard feet to David Cameron, the Prime Minister of Britain. We all wrote a UNICEF article that you think is the most important to us.
It was a sublime day because it was the 20th anniversary UNICEF became a organization. It was a fun-packed day filled with activities such as Globingo, and we also had our Christmas dinner on the same day.
We hope David Cameron enjoyed our messages!

Martin Luther King was a great man who fought against racism; he thought that the black were treated differently to white people.Like if a Black person was on a bus they will have to pay bigger fares and give up their seats to a white person. If you didn’t give up your seat to a White person you will go to jail. As a child Martin had lots of white friends.
It was a pleasure to see that some children had spent their Christmas holiday researching and making presentations about what it means to be a Rights Respecting School.
